A passion for skiing and treasuring memorable family holidays has inspired us at Clarian Chalets to develop our family friendly offering with a week in our luxury ski chalet that is especially designed and reserved for families with Babies & Toddlers.
The best holidays are for all the family, and our Baby & Toddler week encourages parents to hit the pistes, and for children to revel in the snow and slide on the slopes in our charming resort of Châtel.
Infants are cared for in the chalet and safe enclosed garden with fun and active childcare. For the toddlers over 2yrs we can have them out on skis with specialist instructors enjoying all that the mountains have to offer.
With little ones looked after, parents get to enjoy some exhilarating skiing or snow boarding while looking forward to a luxurious welcome at our chalet every evening. That's the Clarian Chalets Experience.

Nannies
Professional and fun childcare with outdoor alpine playhouse, snow painting, crafts, sledging and gondola rides
Transport
Our driver can transport children and nannies around the resort safely throughout the day. We have child and booster seats available.
Meals
Hearty breakfasts, a light lunch and wholesome early evening meals keep children sustained during the day and ready for sleep at night.
Lessons
For children over 2 years we offer child specialist ski classes. These can be on a private basis or as a ‘parent&me’ class, learning to ski together.
Equipment
Stocked with plenty of equipment for young guests, we have single and double buggies, comfortable cots, highchairs, monitors, supplies of nappies, sledges and so much more.
Parents
Given the freedom to ski, enjoy long lunches and come back to happy children. Make the most of the luxurious chalet. With a hot tub, sauna, delicious meals and over 20 wines in our open cellar there is plenty for the parents as well as the children!

Our family friendly chalet has been designed with both children and parents in mind. This includes a family suite with cosy bunk beds, the ‘secret’ kid's snug (a great hideaway for younger ones), as well as the games room and huge TV! Meal requirements are discussed in advance and are usually served at a special alpine chef's dining table, ahead of the adults' dinner.
Meals, ski passes, lessons, equipment are all arranged to come to the chalet. Our team of four dedicated chalet staff will be on hand to make your stay is a fabulous one. Experienced nannies will provide childcare to suit your needs. Children and adults are attended to in equal measure as we want everyone to have a great time. That’s the Clarian Chalets Experince.
The resort of Châtel is charming with a lovely French atmosphere. The many lifts link into the vast Portes du Soleil ski area covering France and Switzerland. Queues for lifts are rare. Several ski schools operate, including ESF, offering a choice of English or French instructors and taking children from the age of 4.
