The ski resort and summer mountain bike destination of Châtel is nestled in the French Alps, south of Lake Geneva.  Situated in the Vallée d'Abondance, the location provides a vista of rich mountain pastures amongst the lofty Alpine peaks of the Chablis Massiff. The charming village of Châtel is a 90 minute drive from Geneva airport through breathtaking scenery and rich farmlands.

In the winter the skiing is linked across France and Switzerland in the vast Portes du Soleil with 600km of pistes.  In the summer the lifts run to provide walking and mountain bike access to the mountains too.  The nearby towns Morzine, Montriond, Evian and Montreux are easily accessible as are Annecy, Chamonix and Geneva.

We can arrange comfortable transport by private or shared minibus to link in with your flights.  Alternatively you can conveniently hire vehicles from either the French or Swiss sides of Geneva Airport. We have parking spaces for cars available at the chalet. Please let us know if you would lke to use one of them.
