What's Included when Self-Catering?
Welcome to the 270 square meters luxury of La Grange au Merle by Clarian Chalets. There are six bedrooms, each individually designed and with en-suite facilities. Two of the bedrooms (a bunk bedroom and a large double) offer a family suite, sharing a hallways and an en-suite. The rest of the bedrooms can be arranged as doubles or twins.
There is ample space to spread out across the chalet, which you can see in the floor plan, especially in the large living area. There are large sliding doors opening on to chairs on the terrace, with views overlooking the village and mountains. There is a large dining table seating twelve comfortably and which can be extended to 14. The roaring fire is surrounded by sofas and easy chairs and the neighbouring cocktail bar hosts stools for a tête-à-tête away from the heat. You can also ease achling limbs or just relax in the sauna.
The kitchen is open plan with a large oven, five-ring hob, microwave, dish washer, large fridge freezer and wine fridge. There is a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso machine (cone capsules) as well as a kettle. Fondu and raclette equipment are on hand as well. There is also a food mixer. The kitchen is well stocked with a wide range of crockery and utensils.
Outside there are gardens on both sides of the chalet providing space for some snowball fun if you have the energy. There is a hot tub to one side as well as a charming Alpine chalet playhouse for children. There is parking available on both sides of the chalet accommodating four cars easily.
We can arrange for ski lift passes to be available for you on arrival at the chalet as well as arranging ski lessons or guiding. Equipment can also be arranged to be fitted at the chalet with our partners SkiHire2U, saving you the queues and walk to a ski-hire store.
For an additional fee we can arrange additional resort driving or catering for you as well. For example we can provision the chalet for your arrival and can also arrange for some meals to be prepared for you so that you just need to reheat them when you come in.
If you have not driven to the resort we can arrange transfers from Geneva airport to the chalet and we can also arrange for a daily chauffeur to and from the chalet. Our driver to drop you off at the pistes first thing in the morning and collect you again in the afternoon.
