Gourmet meals from our professional Chef
Mouthwatering meals created by your dedicated chef are included in the price of your stay. This covers hearty breakfasts and home baked afternoon teas. In the evening early dinners can be provided for children, while the adults are treated to canapés and a sumptuous four course meal with selected wines and soft drinks. The chalet team have one day off each week, during which time we will provide you with a babysitter if required, allowing you to take advantage of the fabulous restaurants available in Châtel.
Four complimentary house wines
At Clarian Chalets we are passionate about our wine. We have specially selected four delicious complimentary house wines, two whites and two reds, as well as serving a wonderful French crémant aperitif every evening. It was a hard job choosing but we think you will enjoy them too!

Guests may also enjoy our cocktail bar, mixing a refreshing gin and tonic before dinner. Complimentary soft drinks are also available.
Concierge Services
Your knowledgeable and unobtrusive Chalet Manger will ensure your holiday runs smoothly. Additional services will be arranged, restaurant reservations made and advice on the resort provided. Perhaps the children want a break from skiing or you want to try snowshoeing? Need to book a restaurant or just want some ideas? Just let us know!
Resort Chauffeur - available all day
To ensure you spend as much time enjoying all that Châtel and the Portes du Soleil has to offer our resort chauffeur is at your disposal throughout the day. We will take you to the slopes in the morning and collect you again whenever you like. Want to collect children from ski school? No problem - we are there to help. Just give us a little warning and you won't have any more sore feet or hanging around!
Little luxuries
Relaxing after a hard day skiing is made a little more luxurious with specially selected toiletries in all the en-suite bathrooms. A selection of soft fluffy towels are also provided along with bespoke Clarian Chalets bathrobes and personal slippers.
All the bedrooms are made up with Egyptian cotton bed linens with faux fur and soft woollen accents.
We will arrange with our partner firm Ski Hire2U for your pre-booked equipment to be delivered and fitted in comfort at the chalet so that you can get to the pistes without delay. If you have your own equipment we can also arrange for service and repair, all from the comfort of our very own boot room.
Have your ski pass ready and waiting for you on arrival at the chalet so you can head straight for the slopes.
Whether adult or child, beginner or expert, there is an instructor or ski guide for every level. Châtel offers a good range of ski schools in English, French and Dutch with private or group lessons as well as mountain guiding. It is highly recommended to book early, especially in busy weeks, to avoid disappointment.
Professional nannies are available to care for and entertain your children, allowing you to enjoy everything the resort has to offer. Children can be looked after in the chalet where there is access to a host of outdoor fun in the garden. The playroom is stocked with art activities, games and when exhaustion sets in there are a range of age appropriate DVDs. For older children our nannies know all the best sledging spots, snow shoeing walks and hot chocolate cafes
Our carnotzet (wine cave) is stocked with a great selection of wines - whites, reds, champagne and desert wines - which you are welcome to purchase during your stay.
Hidden in a cave underneath the chalet is our very own 'carnotzet'. Traditionally this is a room used to not only store wines, but also a space in which to taste, savour and enjoy the drinking of wines. Wine tastings of specially selected Savoie wines are arranged for groups to experience the pleasure of these unusual French wines with cheeses in an atmospheric surrounding.
After a hard day on the slopes we invite you to relax and enjoy a massage or beauty treatment which can be arranged by your Chalet Manager. Complete the experience by unwinding in the our sauna or hot tub to feel invigorated and refreshed.
Running through the forests beside the scenic River Dranse is the 40km nordic ski trail. Its many paths are graded from green to red and includes a biathlon shooting range. If you prefer to be higher in the mountains, ski touring offers a great way to experience a different journey through the alpine landscape.
Helicopter flights from Switzerland allow access to virgin snow, or if you prefer to fly with the birds - try para-skiing. Accompanied by guides, vast areas of pristine off-piste skiing is waiting to be explored.
The Linga slope opens up with music and flood lighting on Thursday nights. Enjoy skiing under the stars for a different skiing perspective.
A wealth of snowshoe trails meander through forests lower in the valley or reach high into the mountains offering fabulous views. Snowshoeing gives new insights into the landscape and with Tanya as your guide you are sure to have a fun adventure! Alternatively, we also provide snowshoes at the chalet.
This extreme zip wire will have your adrenaline pumping as you fly headfirst through the air at around 100km per hour. The Fantasticable runs for over 2500m high above Plaine Dranse. Certainly a unique way to see the mountains.
The busy village of Châtel has plenty on offer away from the mountains. The aquatic centre has a children's pool and play area, a 25m pool and the appealing outdoor pool in which you can relax and admire the view. A Wellness Area, Ocean Spa and Gym ensure you leave feeling refreshed and revived.
